The above Independence day slogan was led out by Maulana Hasrat Mohanib, an Urdu poet and a freedom fighter. Bhagat Singh another great Freedom Warrior popularized the slogan though.

Bhagat Singh was one of the most revolutionary Freedom Fighter of India, who sacrificed his life at the young age of 23.

“Inqlaab Zindabaad” simply means – “Long live the revolution”.
